The First Look isn't about locking in lineups or making final picks—it's about getting ahead of the field, identifying the best spots early, and giving you a foundation to build smarter DFS lineups as injury news, projections, salaries, and ownership become clearer throughout the week.

Dallas allowed the Giants to score 28 on Sunday Night Football, and control the ball for more than half of the game. Washington's defense, meanwhile, held Philadelphia to 24 however, the explosive plays were there, including a 64-yard completion and a 42-yard Barkley run. That combination is exactly what we want for DFS.

Dallas brings several strong DFS options, starting with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, A solid QB/WR stack that offer's significant upside. Lamb is the alpha of the passing game, while George Pickens adds big-play potential and gives Dak another viable stacking partner. Javonte Williams is on the table, particularly if Dallas can establish the ground game and take a big lead. For tournaments, the Cowboys' passing attack is the most appealing route. The Commanders added Stefon Diggs to an offense that still features Terry McLaurin, giving Daniels two legitimate downfield weapons. McLaurin remains an appealing tournament option because of his touchdown and big-play upside, while Diggs could see significant volume as he gets more comfortable in Washington's offense.

Baltimore absolutely crushed Indianapolis, while New Orleans' offense came alive after halftime against Detroit. The Saints actually outscored Detroit 30-10 after falling behind 21-0. I feel this game will go strongly in Baltimore's direction, giving us plenty of strong DFS plays, however, if the Saints can keep it close we could have a slate breaking game here.

Lamar Jackson threw for 324 yards and a touchdown against Indianapolis while also rushing for a touchdown in Baltimore's 41-23 victory. Lamar's ceiling is always incredibly high with his rushing floor. Derrick Henry dominated in Week 1, rushing 24 times for 144 yards and three touchdowns in Baltimore's 41-23 win. He handled 24 of Baltimore's 37 rushing attempts, including every carry inside the 10, showing just how valuable his workload was. With that combination of volume and goal-line work, Henry is without question in play this week against a team that gave up 156 yards to Gibbs in week 1. Zay Flowers exploded in the first half of Baltimore's Week 1 win, catching 5 of 6 targets for 150 yards and a touchdown, including a 54-yard score. The saints allowed Amon ra St. Brown to have a massive game last week. Flowers, if healthy could do the same. On the other side of the ball, the Saints could bring us some DFS gold as they may be forced into another high-volume passing script against Baltimore. Tyler Shough threw 56 passes for 410 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1, and if Baltimore gets out to an early lead as Vegas expects, we could once again see Shough approach 40-plus attempts. That volume makes the Saints' passing attack particularly appealing for tournaments, especially with targets likely to be concentrated among their top weapons.
Chris Olave is the clear centerpiece, coming off a monster 10-catch, 182-yard performance and offering both massive target potential and big-play upside. Devaughn Vele is an intriguing mid-range option after catching 7-of-9 targets for 69 yards and a touchdown, while Juwan Johnson provides a cheaper path to the same passing attack after scoring in Week 1. If you're stacking Lamar Jackson or Derrick Henry, pairing them with Olave—or taking a shot on Vele or Johnson for salary relief—could provide the correlation needed for a tournament-winning lineup.

Vikings–Bears stands out as one of the better DFS environments on the Week 2 slate, carrying a 48.5-point total with Chicago favored by just 5.5 points. Both offenses are coming off explosive Week 1 performances, with Chicago scoring 59 points and Minnesota putting up 39, while both defenses showed enough vulnerability to create opportunities for another high-scoring game. Justin Jefferson is the centerpiece for Minnesota after catching 8 passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns, while Caleb Williams and D'Andre Swift headline a Chicago offense that generated 59 points and 552 yards. The uncertainty surrounding Minnesota's quarterback situation and Chicago's backfield could also create some interesting ownership opportunities, making this an appealing game to target for tournaments.

Caleb Williams is an appealing tournament and cash option after totaling 334 yards and four touchdowns last week, 65 of which he ran for, Williams has that rushing upside we love to target in DFS. D'Andre Swift also deserves a look after rushing for 124 yards and three scores. The Bears' receiving corps provides value in man ways to stack with Williams, Rome Odunze ($5,500) serving WR1. Luther Burden III ($5,700) also stands out as a strong DFS option after catching five passes for 63 yards in his 2026 debut, giving him both volume and big-play upside. Chicago pass catchers are cheap this week, in a high total game, this offense is one of my favorites to game stack.
Justin Jefferson ($7,800) opened the season going 8-92-2, and immediately showed that he can produce regardless of the quarterback situation. T.J. Hockenson ($3,500) is another player I like in this matchup after catching 4-of-5 targets for 36 yards and a touchdown. Those two options are my favorite bring backs in any chicago stacks.
